End of Year Ceremony – NZ Syrian Community Arabic School (Qiyam Educational Centre)

On 20 December 2024, The Syrian Arabic Community Association's Arabic School “Qiyam Educational Centre” in Auckland hosted a vibrant End of Year Celebration, welcoming more than 250 parents and students from diverse backgrounds.
The event featured engaging student activities, cultural performances, and the presentation of end-of-year certificates to recognise academic achievements. Guests enjoyed a shared lunch, listened to uplifting Islamic songs, and joined in joyful celebrations of unity and cultural pride, including expressions of solidarity with Palestine.
The day reflected the school’s dedication to education, cultural heritage, and strengthening bonds within the wider community.
